Hail stones

     These hail stones pelted on the roof making the tiles sound like they were made of tin. I thought of the lava rock shower from a story about Pompeii.  The cloud burst moved over head at night with the constant sound of a steady close drone.    

Origami

I made this print when a visiting master Japanese Kimono maker gave me an envelope full of her intriguing origami projects. Some of the objects are unfinished and purely abstract and some have reached their final shapes, such a frog or a bird. To me, all the folded shapes have their own mystery and wisdom. ARTWORK
